OUR HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION SYSTEM

We train individuals with 21st century skills with our education, which is developed in accordance with the MEB curriculum, under the consultancy of our Bahçeşehir University, and is constantly updated in the light of new developments in the world of education.


 

Mentor Teaching System

With the Mentor Teaching System implemented in secondary and high schools, it is aimed to observe the academic and social development of the student and to increase his success, to develop his personal planning and evaluation skills, to determine his development needs, to ensure his commitment to the school, to increase his motivation, and to facilitate interaction and cooperation between school and home. . A mentor teacher provides one-on-one counseling to each student. During the lesson, which is determined as one hour a week, our mentor teachers evaluate whether you have achieved the goals, if the student has not reached the determined goal, they determine the needs by questioning the reasons and motivate the student to set new goals.


 

Coordinated academic studies in All Schools, All Levels

In the City Schools, which adopts the principle of quality education in Turkey, all the details of their speeches and plans are the same and they are made with the same questions as exams. Evaluations, which are very important to evaluate and evaluate the exam results in comparison with the exam results of Bahçeşehir schools all over Turkey, are obtained.


 

Foreign language education

Our goals in foreign language education:
To teach our students a foreign language by living.
To gain the four main skills [Reading-Writing-Listening and Speaking) required by a foreign language:
  • To ensure that our students succeed in the university entrance foreign language exam (LYS-5).;
  • To ensure their success in national and international competitions;
  • To enable them to make presentations in a foreign language and to make year-end and year-end activities using the foreign languages ​​they have learned;
  • To help our students who want to study abroad to prepare for the SAT and TOEFL exams..
 


 

Exams

In the 10th and 11th grades, the "What I Remember Exam" is administered. The goal is to determine what the student can carry from the previous year and to make up for the deficiencies. In the 9th, 10th and 11th grades, 18 AGIS (Academic Development Monitoring Exams) are administered 6 times a year. In addition, practice exams and YKS are applied in the 11th grades that we include in the exam group.


 

University Exam Preparation System

• The main purpose of the Higher Education Institution Examination (YKS) full preparation system is to meet all the needs of our students for the exam, to increase their test technique and academic success, and to ensure that they win the department they want to be happy.
  • It is a two-year treasury program. Covers 11th and 12th Grades.
  • The aim of the 11th grade is to increase the awareness level of the student, to remind the subjects of the Higher Education Institution Exam (YKS) and to develop the test technique.
  • At the end of the 11th grade, academic level determinations are made by applying three YKS mock exams in May..
  • With the two-week YKS course in June, the YKS 12th grade course officially starts. Here, our students receive 50 hours of lessons. At the end of the course, our students They take the first YKS practice exam from the subjects they see. Based on the results of this exam, summer assignments are made and students are sent on vacation.
  • The 75-hour August Course starts in the third week of August. Topics staying in August| continues from the ground. Thus, our students receive a 125-hour YKS preparation program before the school starts. With the opening of schools, Saturday classes and etudes start as well as 17.00-18.00 on weekdays (Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday).
  • In the first week of the semester break, the YKS preparation program continues. Thus, our students receive 325 hours of additional lessons in addition to the 44-hour program.
  • In our schools, 28 YKS mock exams are applied to our 12th grade students.

  • Master 6 is a program that aims at the transition of individuals to world citizenship in line with the changing social conditions and the need to catch up with the technological age.
  • The program consists of 6 different modules that will ensure the well-equipped development of the individual in all areas of life.

Assessment and Evaluation exercises

In order to determine the learning level of our students in the process, we conduct various tests such as Academic Development Monitoring Exam (AGiS), Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS). With these trials, the features aimed to be acquired in the units are examined, and the level of attainment of these features is examined. Missing students after the exam their achievements are determined and studies are carried out to complete the deficiencies. In the study studies we do individually or in small groups, lectures and question solutions are made with the students who make mistakes in the same learning outcome. In this way, we continue our education by completing the subject deficiencies of our students immediately after the exam.


 

Psychological Counseling and Guidance Studies

In order to determine the academic, emotional and social status of our students in their development process, various tests/inventories are applied to our students, observations are made and the progress of the students is evaluated with the teachers.

It is a consultancy service carried out by taking into account all the mental and emotional needs of our students who are preparing for the national exams. Introducing the exam system, determining the appropriate study methods for the student, motivation studies for target setting and reducing anxiety, and expert choice counseling after the exam are included in the process of this service.

Our high school students are at the age at which they are closest to choosing a career. For this reason, it is extremely important for them to know what they care about when choosing a career, which profession they will do with passion, and in which field they will be more successful with the skills they have. With the Career Tendency Test (KET) we apply, our students know themselves and choose the professions they are suitable for.

  Parent Workshops
  These are workshops carried out with activities in order to contribute to our parents' sharing on the issues they need in the development of their children, raising awareness, gaining knowledge and developing different perspectives. When the studies are completed, certificates of participation are presented to the parents.

Parental attitudes, professional orientation, awareness of responsibility, etc. to our parents in various fields related to the educational, professional and individual development of our students. Informative seminars are given by experts on the subject.
