OUR PRIMARY SCHOOL EDUCATION SYSTEM

Our primary school education has been planned in line with our goal of raising individuals with all the skills required by the 21st century. We believe in the importance of providing our students with as many and varied materials as possible, visual, auditory and tactile. With our educational content developed by our own education unit, under the consultancy of our university, in accordance with the MEB curriculum, and educational models that set an example to the world, such as Personalized Teaching Model, Digital Education, STEM + A Education, Cognitive Thinking Education, we raise the academic success of our students to the next level, while making them self-confident and critical. We aim to raise individuals who can think, respect different cultures, are creative, innovative and productive.


 

Digital Education

Digital education, which is perhaps the strongest of the pillars of new generation education, is successfully implemented on our campus. With its rich content, applications, tracking, measurement and evaluation system, digital education not only supports students' learning and academic success, but also gives them a digital literacy identity.


 

Gifted Potential Training (Up)

The aim of UP education is to discover gifted students studying at Bahçeşehir College with scientific diagnosis methods and to train these students as individuals equipped with 21st century skills such as creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, and effective communication, taking into account individual differences such as interests, abilities, cognitive and social development.


 

We Remove the Limits of Classes

We offer our students different learning environments with our classrooms and open spaces that open to the grass. One of the aims of our program is to improve the physical, emotional, social and mental characteristics of our students while participating in games and physical activities.


 

STEM Junior

The main goal in our STEM education is to provide interdisciplinary learning. For this, the student has to produce a project. Because only at the stage of project production, the student feels the need to actively use the information he has learned in all lessons. Our students can produce original projects by using the subjects they have learned in other courses (Science, Mathematics, Life Sciences, Science.) with the achievements they have achieved.


 

Coding and Robotics

While doing robotic studies, students feel like a scientist, an engineer or a designer, and over time they begin to feel more confident in examining problems in daily life and finding solutions to these problems. The aim of the Coding and Robotics activities is to provide students with the following skills:
• Computational thinking skills that they will use throughout their lives
• Understanding and using smart devices and developing new smart devices
• Learning the engineering design process
• Coding, robot programming
• Being able to think original and creatively about what and how it develops.
• Linking cause and effect
• Game design and game programming

STP (Social Tracking Program)

It is a program that follows students' sports and art trends from pre-school to the end of 8th grade in applied courses. With the social tracking program, we discover, develop and archive the talents of the student.


 

Measurement and Evaluation Studies

At the beginning of each academic year, the What I Remember Exam is given to our students. Our aim with this exam is to determine at what level our students have the achievements of the previous year, to determine the achievements they are missing and to plan remedial studies. In order to determine the learning level of our students during the process, various trial exams such as the Academic Development Monitoring Exam (AGiS) are held. With these trials, the features aimed to be acquired in the units are evaluated. After the results of our trial exams are sorted out, individual and group study studies are planned according to the achievements that our students lack.


 

We Don't Teach English With Bilingual Education, We Learn It

The 'Bahçesehir College Bilingual Education System', which was implemented as a result of intensive academic studies and research, is implemented in our school with meticulous work and planning. We aim to equip our students with four language skills (reading, writing, listening comprehension, speaking) in the lessons conducted with expert educators and Turkish and foreign teachers. Within the Bilingual Programme, 17 hours of English lessons are held per week, and in these lessons, the literacy program that any child of the same age as our students receives abroad is implemented. Our students also take Mathematics, Science and Life Science courses in English as part of the bilingual program.
